Chy Sunny is a real Fishermans's cottage built around 1860. It has only changed hands two times since it was built so we are the 3rd owners.There used to be a hat that lived in the kitchen that belonged to the last fisherman who lived there back in the 1950s. It only left the house to go to sea fishing for pilchards. It's in the cubboard now, it would be back luck to move it out wouldn't it? 

The use of the property has changed over the years, the kitchen used to be used for fish curing and the family would have lived in the two rooms above ground. The outbuildings used to be communal before belonging to Chy Sunny. One part was used for preparing fish for all of the three cottages; freeing up another room in the house a few years later (about 1900); and the other end was a luxury item, an outside toilet!
